Law Clerk

Erin was born and raised in Renfrew, Ontario, in the heart of the Ottawa Valley. The Briscoe family is a Renfrew icon, operating Briscoe’s Grocery store in the heart of town for generations. Erin’s work in the family business provided her with exceptional people skills and a sound foundation in economics.

Erin came to Kingston in 2000 and attended the Law Clerk program at St. Lawrence College. She worked for a number of years supporting Chad Carter, one of Kingston’s leading counsel in the field of mental health law following graduation. Mr. Carter’s practice provided her with opportunity to work with and gain a fuller understanding of the difficulties facing individuals grappling with mental health based disability.

Erin joined Bergeron Clifford in July of 2006. Erin is involved with the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association as part of its Law Clerk Section.
